A Ministry of Service

Meal Programs We serve meals every Tuesday through Friday evening – 34,000 per year.

Tuesday,  St. Paul's Paris, 26 Washington Street, Malden, 5:30-6:30pm.

Wednesday, St. Paul 's Parish, 26 Washington St., Malden , 5:30-6:30pm.

Thursday, St. Paul 's Parish, 26 Washington St., Malden , 5:30-6:30pm.

Friday, First Baptist Church, 493 Main St., Malden, 5:30-6:30pm.

Holiday Meals We offer special celebration dinners at Christmas/Chanuka, Passover/Easter and Thanksgiving as well as holiday “baskets” for families at Thanksgiving.

Food   Pantry    We     distribute canned, dry, fresh and frozen foods on Fridays from 2-4 PM to  low-income people in Malden, Medford, Everett, Melrose, Stoneham, Saugus, Wakefield, Reading, North Reading and Winchester.  In 2003 we served 204,000  meal  equivalents.

The ShareWood Project provides free health care for dinner guests, every Tuesday evening 6:30 – 9:30 PM at Centre Methodist Church in Malden.

“Dinner at St. Paul’s” This exhibit of portraits of dinner guests (by Jane Smith Bernhardt) and poetry (by guests and staff) is available for display.

Caring and Sharing Spiritual support group meets Wednesdays at 6.00 PM, following the meal at St. Paul’s Parish.

Bread of Life Highlights Newsletter provides updates on upcoming events and needs, and insights from guests, volunteers, and staff.

Clothing Distribution We distribute donated clothing and blankets at our meals sites.

Volunteer   Opportunities    Guests    and  volunteers  are  invited  to share our work, enhance self–esteem   while   developing    work    skills, personal support, and social contacts.

Elder Food Outreach provides a monthly grocery order for about 160 vulnerable senior citizens at two elderly housing complexes in Everett and Melrose.
